The successful candidate is accountable for participating in projects, from need identification to implementation, considering the unique needs of our internal customers and in close partnership with the HR Centers of Excellence (Talent & Organizational Development, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, Employee Central & Advocacy).Responsibilities will be broad: leadership consulting on HR matters, people manager coaching & development, performance and talent management, organizational realignment and workforce planning, talent sourcing, hiring & retention strategies, and HR program development and implementation.The ideal candidate will contribute at both hands-on and strategic levels to cultivate an amazing and innovative culture. The ideal candidate will bring creative and effective ideas and solutions to our growing organization.Role and ResponsibilityBe a trusted coach and advisor, helping our leaders work through challenges (big and small) and driving change within their teams.Consult with managers and leaders to craft meaningful strategies to retain, engage and develop high-performing teamProvide support and guidance to managers on HR policies and procedures, including disciplinary and grievance matters, ensuring CAE is in line with employment legislation and company policy.First-level employee relations matters/investigationDisciplinary measures to include Performance Plans and TerminationsCreating onboarding plans and educating newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulationsAdvise where appropriate and, in conjunction with Sr. HR Leader, arrange learning & development courses for staff as requiredAssist with HR project work to support the Sr. HR Leader in achieving both Company and departmental objectives.Responsible for Employee Event coordination and wellness activitiesResponsible for all administrative functionsAssist with all other HR matters as required by the Sr. HR LeaderProvide recruitment support for recruitment teamParticipate in the interview processResponsible for Implementation and execution of New Hire Orientation and OnboardingResponsible for Background ChecksLiaise with Finance to ensure pay related information is processed.Maintain electronic (HR systems) and manual employee files as to provide accurate and up to date records from which to produce reports and auditing information.Ensure CAE policies and procedures are kept up to date and in line with employment legislation.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or a related field+6 years’ experience in HR Generalist roleEnglish bilingualKnowledge of Latin America employment lawComfortable navigating ambiguity and rolling up your sleeves as needed.#LI-MS1Position TypeRegularCAE thanks all applicants for their interest.
