Working Hours: Full-time, 9AM - 5PM EST

Language: Professional proficiency in English level C1 is required.

Scope of the Role


The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the operations of warehouse and transportation functions within Pez Logistics. This role entails communicating with customers, managing remote employees, coordinating daily with the warehouse manager to ensure smooth warehouse operations, and coordinating with transportation carriers. Proficiency in management systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS) is essential for success in this role. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in optimizing workflows, automating processes, and enhancing operational efficiency. While prior experience in logistics is beneficial, it's not a requirement. We value intelligence, excellent communication skills, and skills for making high-level decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise remote employee(s) to ensure efficient operations
  • Daily communication with customers to provide status updates and answer inventory questions
  • Collaborate closely with the warehouse manager to oversee and streamline warehouse
  • operations
  • Communicate effectively with transportation carriers to coordinate shipping and delivery

  • Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems
  • (TMS) to track inventory, shipments, and deliveries

Requirements
  • Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a logistics or supply chain
  • environment
  • Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation
  • Management Systems (TMS) preferred
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced
